Jakoboson breaks the act of communication into 6 constituent factors

Now the terms addresser, addressee and message are quite simple to understand but when it comes to context, contact and code it can get a bit complicated. 

A context is the social situation of communication.

Contact is the channel of communication, how one is recieving the info

Code is the language used, now by language I can mean English, French,ect but it can also be any sign which is recognised by the society to have a particular meaning.
