Exposure and Shutter Speed
Expsoure
What really is exposure ?
In simple words, exposure is the professional term for light.
The three types of exposure are : - Underexposed
- Optimal exposure
- Overexposed
In an underexposed picture you get very good details of the sky. Optimal exposure is normally the default setting of a camera and lastly overexposed is where you capture the mid-tones of a photo.
Ususally we control the exposure to show the emotions in the subjects face but in glamourous shoots we use high-key lighting to show everything well glammed.
High Dynamic Range (HDR): It's the type of photography where you mix together the three type of exposure in one photo.
