Three grounds of a picture - Positive and Negative space

The three grounds of a picture are following : 

- Foreground (front part)

- Middleground (middle part)

- Background 

Positive space and negative space : 

The positive space is the part of the picture that has your subject, as for the negative part, the subject is absent.
